  • An overview of e-SIDES

Per the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry:

WHAT ARE SIDES AND SIDES E-RESPONSE?

SIDES and SIDES E-Response are web-based systems available to employers and TPAs - free of charge - that provide a secure, electronic and nationally-standardized format to respond to UC information requests. SIDES is designed for employers and TPAs that typically deal with a large volume of UC information requests, while SIDES E-Response is for employers with a limited number of UC claims throughout the year.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SIDES AND SIDES E-RESPONSE?

SIDES and SIDES E-Response have the potential to significantly improve the UC information exchange process. While the best option depends on the specific needs of an employer, both systems offer significant benefits:

  • Saves time and money
  • Available for FREE
  • Reduces staff time
  • Reduces paper work
  • Helps keep UC rates as low as possible by reducing overpayments
  • Provides an electronic, nationally standardized data format
  • Includes data checks to ensure the exchange of complete and valid information
  • Provides tools for a healthier bottom line

11am-12pm        Lunch

12pm-4pm

Kate Kohler

Co-Owner

Sandler Training

Agenda Items:

Extended DISC – The group will understand the four different personality styles and learn how to adapt/adjust to those who are different. I will provide laminated cards for each person to keep as a cheat sheet for “how to identify each style” and “how to communicate with each style”. I will also discuss how to send emails to each style in an effort to get timelier responses.

Transactional Analysis – We will break down the Three Ego States – Parent, Adult, Child and explain what type of emotional triggers cause these various behavioral styles to come out and deteriorate relationships and conversations.

I/R Theory – Help participants understand why self-worth and value is diminished, why we take and give things personally, and how important it is to separate our roles in life from who we are. This will help build confidence, empathy and positive outlook, leading to more effective and efficient “doers” and communicators.

Miscellaneous Communication Awareness Tips – We will discuss how important tonality, body language and the spoken word really are, as well as other tips and techniques to pay attention to when communicating.

Ms. Kohler has generously offered Attendees a discounted rate of $50 (normally $100) for an Extended DISC Profile.  After you have registered, you will be provided with the information to receive this special promotional rate.
